PURE.TV #1
Monday, November 11th, 2013
LIVE from the Key Arena, Seattle, Washington on AMC
RP DEADLINE: Sunday, November 10th - 11:00pm EST
RP LIMITS: 1 RP, 3,000 words (unless otherwise specified)
Match #1:
The Emerald Assassin vs. Noah Walsh vs. Jordan Caliban vs. Stallion
In this high octane multi-man contest, four hungry lions will have themselves a feeding frenzy in the first ever PURE Wrestling match. In this four-way dance between the high-flying Irishman Jordan Caliban, the publicity obsessed Stallion, the seasoned journeyman of the WA wrestling circuit Noah Walsh and the masked crusader The Emerald Assassin, all four will get their opportunity to impress the Seattle audience in a big way when they fight to make history as the first ever PURE Wrestling match winner.
Match #2:
Xianlong VS Decon Smith
A true clash of David and Goliath, the second scheduled contest of the evening will pit will against might when disciplined and dedicated Xaolin monk Xianlong takes on the living, breathing wrecking machine that is Decon Smith. Who will prevail in this bout of Biblical proportions?
Match #3: Special Attraction
"The Last King" Scott Wilson vs. "The Golden Boy" Jayson Garrett
In our feature showcase for the evening, WFWF's “Golden Boy” Jayson Garrett will be making a one and done appearance to help kick off the show in a big way and add to his already glittering reputation by picking up another win on his travels across the wrestling world. Standing in his way though is PURE's most mysterious signing yet, "The Lost King" Scott Wilson. This masked man with a history as shrouded as his identity looks to take the shine out of The Golden Boy and impress PURE TV fans in a big way with a win tonight. Will Scott Wilson crumble like Icarus under the scrutiny of Jayson's shine or will the shadows be merciless in swallowing Garrett whole?
Match #4:
"Madman" Chris Madison vs. "The Great" Jair Hopkins vs. Aubrey J. Parker
In a match that smirking detractors would say Aubrey J. Parker is well versed in (three-way), this all APW alum classic between three of the company's final champions will shake the Key Arena to its absolute foundations. For “The Great” Jair Hopkins, stepping out of the shadows of his tag team partner Anthony Bailey and proving his excellence is paramount while Aubrey will simply be out to prove that in this new era of wrestling she is still the leader of the pack. The dark horse Chris Madison is out to prove himself the true professional eliminator by taking out two big names in one fell swoop in this stacked triple threat.
Match #5:
"The Promise" Anthony Bailey vs. Maverick Jones
In the pen-ultimate contest of the evening, the hero of the masses Anthony Bailey is promising to impress in a big way when he steps into the ring against the man who may be his toughest opponent yet Maverick Jones. What the smaller man Maverick lacks in stature, he makes up for in raw talent and wild card unpredictability. Preaching a philosophy known as "The Grand Design", Jones has designs of his own to put a stop to the amazing momentum generated by Bailey in his foundational years as a professional wrestler but with the crowd on his side, it takes truly an exceptional man to break "The Promise".
Main Event:
Ash Scion vs. Allen "Portal" Bartsch
Young clashes against old in our main event for the evening and already one of the two competitors has earned themselves a reputation in PURE Wrestling. Tweeting promises of assured victory, Ash Scion swore to “break” whoever PURE TV put in front of her and has made the ominous warning to PURE management “not to advertise them for episode 2”. That said, if anyone can prove her wrong then it's industry vet “APB” Allen “Portal" Bartsch, a sixteen year soldier of the game with more championship victories than some wrestlers have had matches. Will youth, arrogance and drive topple a decade and a half of experience? Find out on November 11th.
