The scene opened backstage as "The Madman" Chris Madison had just made his way through the entrance curtain, while breathing heavy and unraveling his athletic tape. Madison then stopped in mid-stride, as he was handed a towel by a stagehand. The gesture was appreciated because Madison had just won a hard fought battle against Xianlong and Mark Mania, so it's pretty obvious that Chris was exhausted. However, despite going through all of that struggle from moments prior. Chris still was kind of enough to grant Jenny Perry, who was already awaiting his arrival backstage with a quick interview.
JP: Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome at this time. CHRIS MAAADDDIIIISON!
*Wiping his eye-brows & face* Madison: Hello Jenny.
JP: Hi Chris. *Smiling* So Chris it's no secret about your success so far in PURE, but you really have been on fire lately. You've managed to gain steady wins over many opponents, plus you have already secured a spot in the PURE Heavyweight title match at Crisis.
*Nodding in agreement* Madison: Yes.
JP: So my question for you i-
Just before Jenny Perry could finish her question, the interview is disrupted by an all-so familiar voice.
Madison goes down; as he is struck in the face with a crutch, by none other than 'The Main Attraction' "Young" Mannie Romero. Jenny Perry quickly makes herself a ghost, as she flies away from the scene.
Condor: Thank god...It's Mannie!
Stanton: What hell are you talking about? I thought he wasn't suppose to be here tonight? Then on top of that Chris, isn't he suppose to be "So-Called Injured"?
Condor: Are you stupid or something?
Stanton: What?
Condor: I just said that I prayed James. So Wallah, There's Mannie! It's a miracle James, so end of story!
Stanton: You know what Chris, that's Bullsh*t! You know it and I know it.
Condor: Yeah, yeah whatever. How about you do your job James and call the action.
Stanton: Oh yes Chris, I will do my job but I'm still not buying any of that crap.
Meanwhile the previously injured "Young" Mannie is putting the boots away on Chris' body. Because The Madman is still showing signs of life, as he is trying to get back on his feet; all while delivering blows to Mannie's rib cage. However, the last bit of hope for Madison dies; when Mannie strikes him with the other crutch across his back. Madison collapses back the floor, as Mannie smiles in bliss about the attack. Yet, despite all of that Mannie still wasn't finished with Madison. So if you thought that was enough, then sadly your thoughts were wrong. Because Mannie decided to add a little more salt to Chris' wounds.
*Being handed a bottle of Ciroc, by a now present Jacinta who just arrived on the scene with Alec.* Mannie: Oh no Chris, It's not over yet!
*Clapping* Jacinta: Whoop his ass Papi, whoop his ass!
*Growling* Alec: But don't forget to save me some...
Stanton: I don't think my stomach can stand looking at this anymore, this is so horrible to look at Chris.
Condor: Ha! You're not getting out of this one James, you will look at it and you will be a witness to justice.
Stanton: Justice? How could you call this beating on Chris Madison justice?
Condor: I'll tell you how James, because Madison bought it all on himself about two weeks. Remember?
Stanton: You can't be serious Chris?
Condor: I sure am James, i'm just about as serious as your journalism career.
The commentary is cut short again as Mannie instructs his monster to pick up Madison, but the groggy "Madman" still has some fight left in him; as he spits blood in Mannie's face. The show of disrespect by Madison is not left without a consequence, as Mannie tells Alec to finish off Chris with one final blow.
*Speaking softly* Alec: Do you fear me Chris?
*Looking back at Alec, while laughing* Madison: F*CK YOU!
Alec looks disappointed by Chris Madison's answer, as he responds back in turn.
*Speaking just loud enough* Alec: Well Suffer!
Alec smirks as he delivers a massive headbutt to Madison, who crumbles emphatically. Mannie finally begins to walk away with his Posse, allowing medical personal to check on Madison. However, as Mannie begins to open the bottle of Ciroc. He's decides to turn back around.
Stanton: Oh great! What now?
Condor: Hopefully James, more justice.
The medics plea with Mannie to go away, but he orders Alec to get rid of them. Alec shoves all of them out of the way, as Mannie crotches over Chris' prone body.
Mannie: I told you that it wasn't over yet Chris, because I still haven't payed you back yet for that favor. *Chuckling* Are you ready?
Condor: *Rubbing his palms together* I know I am.
Stanton: *Looking disgusted at Birdman* You two are just peas in a pod, aren't you?
*Shrugging* Condor: If he dies, he dies.
Stanton: I just hope Mannie gets his, when Karma comes back to bite him in the ass!
Condor: Haters are going to hate.
Mannie finally decides to leave Chris with one last memory, as he buries Madison under Ciroc. Mannie then pours the remaining contents of the bottle onto Chris, as he wiggles around in agony because it burned his open cuts. The scene then fades as referees separate the two, while security escorts the trio out of the building.
