Don't tell me what to do.
Don't ever tell me what to do.
I've been told to quit. I've been told it's time to retire for good. I've been told it's time to concentrate my talents on the backstage side of things.
No. That's not going to happen.

*STATIC*
[Black and White static fills your computer screen. Low Quality Video on Youtube. APB slowly comes into focus. He's standing in the middle of a run down park. Filth and Graffiti surround him. APB isn't looking at the camera.]
APB: Some people may look out at the rot and decay around me, and see despair. They may look at how things are going for me in the ring and see the same.
[APB turns to the camera.]
APB: But, I've a little secret to let you in on.
[The camera zooms in on APB's face. He whispers directly to the camera.]
APB: That kind of thinking couldn't be further from the truth. You see, this....
[The camera pans back as APB points to the scenery around him.]
APB: This is a scene full of HOPE. This is a scene full of PROMISE. It can be cleaned up, it can be repaired. It can be made new and fresh. With just a little bit of work.
[Once more APB looks at the camera.]
APB: While things aren't the best for me right now. While I may be on a bit of a slump, I'm not down. AND I'M SURE AS HELL NOT DOWN. I'm just as here as I've always been. That ring? That ring in the center of the arena? That's my god damned HOME! That's where I'm comfortable and that's where I make my living. People want to push me out because I'm old and worn down? Please, I've got more fire in my pinky finger than most of these young punks have in their entire body.
[APB pauses. He sighs then looks into the camera once more.]
APB: Am I grumpy? I don't know. Am I worn down? Probably. Am I old? Sure. Is it time to take me out back and put me down?
[APB looks down and thinks for a few moments. He then turns his back towards the camera and once more looks upon the worn down park.]
APB: Only if you can pull it off. The second I can't fight anymore. The second I give up. Take me out back and put me in a suit. The second I don't have the fire in me to spit in your eye and slap you in the face, take me out back and put me down. BUT until that moment....
[APB turns his attention back to the camera.]
APB: UNTIL THAT MOMENT, EXPECT ME TO FIGHT YOU TOOTH AND NAIL. I won't roll over. I won't give up. I'll be standing there front and center every week. I'll be staring you in the face every single week. You'll never have to look for where I am, because I'll be the first one in line for a fight. I'll be the first in line to get my ass beat. I DON'T CARE IF YOU BEAT ME. You may get a win, but you'll never...
NEVER.
Defeat me. You'll never be able to end me. Every week I'll come right back. Every week I'll be right here. Every week I'll remind you of your future. Every week I'll be here reminding you of what is to come for yourself. You'll one day be at the end of your time. You'll one day be so strung out on the drug that is this sport that you'll take anything you can get. You'll be wrestling anybody, just to get one more hit in.
[APB smiles to himself.]
APB: One day, you'll look into the mirror, and I'll be looking back. One day, you'll see the world through my eyes.
[APB turns and begins to walk away.]
APB: And that day. That day I'll have my final victory.
