Yeah, that's because I failed at posting.
I was joking around about how usually day 1 consists of people arguing whether or not a day 1 lynch is a good idea. What I was saying that we should just get that argument over with a lynch the person who thinsk a day 1 lynch is a bad idea.
Which is what happened to poor TLK during the last game.

Thats because I knew that Mav was scum with his questioning that me and Callahan were working together. Then he proceeded to manipulate everyone into thinking that I was backtracking on my word, which wasn't the case. I just knew it was pointless trying to get through to such an incompetent town. Then the bandwagon went quick as all actual FUCK and you guys were left in a giant chasm by day 2, never mind the extremely OP Bulletproof GF and 6/3 setup. But whatever, it's a new day.

Mind you I have no idea what I'm talking about because I've never played this game before...to me it seems foolish to lynch someone before a write up. You have nothing to base your thoughts on. It's really just a shot in the dark, which can backfire as seen in the last game. Shame though, activity just dropped once TLK was lynched.

I've never been one to really advocate a non-lynch on day one. But I have always stated that it makes me nervous as hell. A lot of games I have played end up with someone town aligned getting lynched, and thus end up as a negative for the town. On the other hand, the logic is always that a no lynch helps the mafia/non-town more than it does town.
It's the highly annoying double edged sword really. We could end up hitting scum, kill one of our own, or start on a bad foot and give scum the advantage. Hence all the discussions that occur about it on the first day.
