Thanks to everyone who showed this week. Couple of no-shows but we got a reason for most of them. Credit goes to Rebel, Gooch, Caliban and Diamond Legend for match writing this week. Credit also for Parker, Legend, Bailey, Madison, PGJR and Mannie for segment writing. Same formula as always, answer some basic questions.
Who was the MVP of the show?
Which was the match of the evening?
Who are you most looking forward to seeing next week?
Who do you think should be in next week's qualifying match?
What can be improved on for next time?
If you lost this week, read over the judging criteria thread I posted before the show. If you want more personalized feedback then fire me or Rebel a PM. Aside from that, this one is in the books. Expect a card late tomorrow evening.

One thing I have to criticize...is having APB eat the pin over Jair who no-showed (in our 3-way match). You handed a direct loss to a guy who RPed as opposed to a guy who didn't. I don't speak for Jag but had it been me I'd have been quite pissed, as I imagine most people would. Other than that, solid show. Bonus points for not featuring DL so much

Who was the MVP of the show? Aubrey Parker, because I enjoyed her interview with Jenny. She also won the first qualifier.
Which was the match of the evening? FIVE MAN ONE FALL BATTLE ROYALE
Who are you most looking forward to seeing next week? Rick Moranis
Who do you think should be in next week's qualifying match? DECON SMITH. He murdered the last king.
What can be improved on for next time? This show was way better than episode one for many reasons, but particularly match length. Keep doing this moving forward.

Bonus points for not featuring DL so much My theory on triple threat no-showers is this; There's really two ways you can look at it. You can look at it your way and say "APB got done over. He showed, Jair didn't. Jair should eat the pin". You want to protect the guy who put the effort in to show up and I can understand why you'd say that. However, the way I see it is there's no second and third place in a triple threat match. There's one person who wins and two people who lose. What you see as APB looking bad, I see as making you look good for putting in the effort to win a triple threat match. Your character looks better for beating the active competitor. In singles competition whether or not someone shows is irrelevant, the person who loses the match eats the pin. I don't see why a triple threat should be any different. If Jair never comes back, it does more for you in the long run to have you beat the person still actively competing than killing someone who never comes back. So while it's not exactly ideal for APB, a week to week loss can be shrugged off and you can use it as fuel for your next promo. I hope that helps explain it.

also, i'm sure if administration is aware of how it looks for APB to lose instead of jair, there'll be compensation next time APB wins by putting him over huge. it evens everything out.

I just want to say I really enjoyed roleplaying for this card and I enjoyed my match. Hats off to C-Mad on the win!
I'm planning to cover the results on EFG this Friday so I'm going to save my feedback for that. Then you HAVE to listen! MUAHAHAHA! :-P

Yeah I probably will. I was thinking of trying to get in on that angle C-Mad has going on since I was included after the match this time...

Who was the MVP of the show? Aubrey J. Parker: That was vintage AJP! The two segments plus the main event victory, solidifying her spot in the Heavyweight Championship match...for those who are new to her character, this was business as usual for her on APW's Asylum. I expect more weeks of her name being the answer to that very question.
Which was the match of the evening? what this should say is which was the match of the evening besides the Heavyweight Qualifyer. Great job from everyone involved! Reading the rps was fun. I don't envy the judges making the call on this one!
Who are you most looking forward to seeing next week? for me, Jair Hopkins. I don't remember him no showing that often. I hope all is well OOC. He's going to need to rebound after losing the first two shows. I would hate to be his opponent!
Who do you think should be in next week's qualifying match? Maverick Jones! That's a huge win over two solid rpers. Definitely not the outcome I expected at the beginning of the week. He's definitely opening some eyes!
What can be improved on for next time? there seemed to be some issues with spacing and color coding. The announcers weren't spaced out throughout a good chunk of the show. One of the matches had no color. All cosmetic thanks that will just tidy up its presentation.

I decided this week that commentators unless they had chunky dialogue don't really need two paragraph groupings to talk which is why sometimes they were clumped together.
While I'm still getting my head around show posting, expect some experimentation like I'm Lady Gaga doing lines of blow and writing songs on the walls.

only two people filled out the feedback questionnaire? Come on folks! Its the least we could do for all the work that goes into putting the results together!

Callahan, sorry I noticed you had to make a few edits to one of my matches last night I hope it didn't take up too much of your time Who was the MVP of the show? I'm giving it to Aubrey that main event had some stiff competition surrounding it this week and whoever won it definitely deserved it Which was the match of the evening? I really enjoyed legends match writing for the submission contest Who are you most looking forward to seeing next week? I am looking forward to the opener, new comer matches are normally some of the most exciting in the show and honestly if I had to write any match this week that would be it Who do you think should be in next week's qualifying match? exactly who made it, that main event could easily be better than the one I was just involved in What can be improved on for next time? honestly because I wrote a couple of matches I dont want to answer this one, although I myself need to start putting segments in its one thing I never do when I efedding and more and more it seems to be becoming important if you want to advance All in all great show, I would like to say thank you to the 6 guys in the triple threat match for the opportunity to write if for them and for the writing team to let me be involved this week, Can't wait till monday

Who was the MVP of the show?
I'm going to have to go with the consensus on this one. Aubrey J Parker.
Which was the match of the evening?
For me, Vause V. Legend - I don't know if it was the formatting or just the prose itself but the match just had a good flow and tension to it with the counts. Regardless of a lack of color I still enjoyed it. Maybe not one to repeat often but I enjoyed it the most.
Who are you most looking forward to seeing next week?
Tie for Diamond Legend and Stallion as the cockiness of each will surely lead to hilarity.
Who do you think should be in next week's qualifying match?
Diamond Legend just due to output alone.
What can be improved on for next time?
Can't really say, so far so good. I mean I guess there's a uniformity in formatting missing however I sort of like it.

Who was the MVP of the show? Aubrey J Parker.
Which was the match of the evening? Close call for me...all of them were pretty good.
Who are you most looking forward to seeing next week? Johnny Rebel.
Who do you think should be in next week's qualifying match? Saw the card and I think it's already booked.
What can be improved on for next time? Eh, *shrugs*
