In life you never live for the 'what if'. All the possibilities you could have had. In today's world it's all about what can you do for me. Not what have you done for me. I want you to ask yourself this? What can you do for me?
Exactly, nothing right? So why in any shape or form would any of you matter?
It was Pure's very first episode where I knew that I just had to make it clear. I had to stand out from the rest and not be that basic superstar that's drastically took over the game. Match or not I did what I knew I had to do. I thunk, and I thunk thoroughly. Sure I put one big target on back, but that's what I want, and the sad thing for you all is that you don't know that.
Everyday of my career I’ve pledged to be one of a kind. Stand out from the rest and always have a voice, but most people saw the life I lived and they just didn't take me serious. You probably don't take me serious but that's always been an advantage on my behalf, but I also know that it's more than just that.
I didn't sit backstage in that locker room just to watch you silly wrestlers bore my face off. I was watching to see who could actually be a threat to me. You know, when the talent is there you don't just sit on it. There's other things you can do to enhance your skills. Mines is being an observer. I see, listen, and think carefully and even though I wasn't booked for Pure's very first episode I saw that I still could make my presence felt. Not with ring skills but just words. Something as simple as that.
I made an Impact.
I listened to what Callahan had to say when the show started up and I thought to myself that that's an idea I like, because that's exactly what I know how to do. Even though it may not be the one he was looking for, but I still stood out. I made the fans notice me and so did everyone backstage, but that's not how far I want to go. It's more about just getting noticed. It's about getting into Pure's very first Pay Per View Main Event and winning the Pure Heavyweight Title. I know, you guys already have your locks in on who you think is going to be in that match. I know, and you're probably not thinking me but guess what? I'm thinking me and that's all that matters...
Because this is who I am.
I admit. As I do think Callahan and J Reb are dwerbs they did have great insight on what they wanted for their first Pure Heavyweight Champion. Once again, just listen to Callahan's statements. What nobody is seeing though in all of this picture...Is that whomever is to eclipse as the first Pure Heavyweight Champion, that person would be setting the benchmark for all Pure Heavyweight Champions to come, because that is what being a Pure Heavyweight Champion is all about and I get that. I got the memo, but I got that before Pure even came about.
That's everything that I've been representing which makes me that much more hungrier than everyone backstage. I didn't come to Pure to just fill up a roster spot. I came here to be Pure and set the mark for all to trail me. Be the cog in a place where faces are sure to gather up. Make this my feeding ground and collect the bones when I'm done. I'm starving people. I really am. My desire has gotten to an all time high. I've become a revamped Diamond Legend and I know that I'm going to cause problems for everyone who belittles and doesn't think much of me. I know that for sure because what you people don't know is that I'm a guy whose ready for the world. I'm ready for it all and you're not going to find much people like that in this day in age.
But don't forget, Pure is in The Diamond Age....
And you all will realize that.

Knock Knock Knock
He stands outside of the Lovett's home on this chilled night. Dressed for the quick change in weather as he blows into his hands for some sort of heat. The door opening but it wasn't who he was expecting. He knew this was the Lovett's home even though this is only his first time here. He looks the tall handsome gentleman up and down thinking that he does have some similarities to Ed. The young ripped man puzzled as he gives Diamond a look.
"You're Diamond Legend right?" Diamond just nods his head. Eagerly waiting for him to open the screen door. "Oh, I didn't realize you without the hair because it's under the cap." he chuckles before finally letting Diamond in. "I'm Joel by the way." his hand extends for a shake. Diamond looking at his hand and then him, but harmoniously extends his hand back even though he didn't want to. Joel smiling before giving Diamond a slight muscle based pat to the back. Diamond stumbling forward a tad bit. Looking at Joel with a miniature grimace.
"Seat?" he points to the red sofas atop the lush white carpet. Diamond shaking his head while looking around the living room for something in particular. "Are you Ed's son?" he finally see's what he was looking for as he steps up to the wooden oak table of pictures. Picking up a picture of Joel in a wrestling ring. Face bloodied and arm raised as he clutches onto a title.
"Yeah, I'm the youngest son and yeah that's me as your local CW champion. A Indy promotion around here in Cali. You should really see me in action." Diamond nods his head while placing the picture back. Joel making his way into the kitchen where he grabs a beer for himself before taking a seat on one of the sofas. "Have a seat. My dad will be back in a few minutes." he gestures out to the other sofa. Diamond unwrapping his scarf and taking the seat.
"So you're the loud mouth Diamond Legend?" he smiles. Diamond shooting him a smirk back. Not a question that he was expecting but it's better than any question Jenny Perry asked him on Pure's first episode he thought. "I'm not loud. I'm just me. I saw what I want and what I feel." Joel nods his head while sitting up on the sofa.
"I understand. I know where you're coming from. It's just that after everything you said on Pure's first show you're going to have to look over your shoulders everywhere you are in Seattle. You don't want that do you?" all Legend could do was grin. He knows that he's a hated man in Seattle. Hell, a broke local wouldn't want to probably sell him anything. But he knows that, and he knows it clearly.
"I like that. I like knowing that at any given second someone could be out to get me. It's exciting and keeps you on your toes. I enjoy the hate and the envy. It just makes everything much more fascinating. Plus, I've never liked Seattle. What have they ever really been known for? I don't know so therefore it's a boring place to be."
"I'm just saying, Pure has some tough talent and I don't think you should have talked about them the way you did." he takes a swallow from the beer. Placing the can on the glass table. Diamond fans his hand before there is a suck to his teeth. "It just shows everyone that I'm not afraid. I mean what I say. I'm better than all those guys. Believe me. I'm more than just words." ready to rant he sits back in the sofa. Looking around the room once more. Astounded with everything he's seen so far. In a split second he's already thinking about his Pure debut match versus Alisha Vause. The one two three, but the snaps of Joel's fingers takes him out of his stupor.
"Want a beer man?" Diamond rebuffs. Joel shrugging his shoulders. As Joel opens the refrigerator Ed and his wife Viola enter their household. Laughing and enjoying each other’s time.
"Hey Diamond nice of you to stop by." she hangs her coat up on the rack before giving Diamond a kiss on the cheek. Diamond looking at Ed and giving him a wink. Ed smirking before whispering into Diamond's ear. "Meet me outside for a sec." he taps Diamond on the shoulder. Diamond really not knowing what to expect. He follows Ed out onto the front porch. Ed solemn as soon as the door closes. Taking a cigar from out of his trench coat pocket and lighting it.
"You know you're up against Alisha Vause Monday night right?" Diamond stood silent just nodding his head. This would be his second match back since the departure of Sanctioned Violence Organization. His last match two weeks ago where he gained a victory over Jordan Caliban who would be in Pure's second Main Event looking to capitalize on his growing momentum. Something that every wrestler succeeds off. Right now he has more momentum than Alisha. For him it's all about keeping it going.
"I just want to let you know that this is the start. To us." his expression is more staid. Diamond feeling his seriousness in a sense. "I know. So let's give Pure, pure hell." that casual persnickety grin of his shoots to his lips. Ed grinning as he unlit his cigar. He and Diamond sharing a hand shake.
"To the Diamond Age." Diamond smiles. “To the Diamond Age.” the duo enter back inside the Lovett home. Diamond taking one more look outside of the door before looking up at the stars. He closes the door. Without a doubt focused for Monday night. Will Alisha be? Time will tell.

"Many of nights I've always wondered why I am the way I am. It always comes down to one thing though, and that's because I know I'm better than you. I made a spark at Pure's first show that's sure to have gotten some attention. I mean, I don't think you people are that pathetic, but hey, sometimes I could digress. Even with me not blessing that squared circle in action with the greatest talent Pure's going to see I still layed out the foundation of what is to come, and hopefully you dwerbs are seeing that.
I waltzed into the Key Arena and told myself that I had to gather up those ears and let the truth come out. Let all of you know how much you suck and how special I am. That's just really how it is, and what has this landed me into? A nice spot on Pure's second episode. A chance to make an impact against Alisha Vause who doesn't have a presence what so ever. Just another wayside character who hasn't grasp on how to be more compelling than your peers.
Just another basic superstar. God, when are you going to learn?
Are you an idiot or are you just an idiot? I mean I kind of knew we would be in the same debut match together being that you signed a few days after me. It was just really bound to happen. I don't know if you were expecting that but you really shouldn't have. You're basic and unauthentic and right now have nothing going for yourself. Look at what I did last Monday night. I found a way to still get myself out there and make that presence. It's what all legend's of this sport do. You have to be adept at always showcasing why you're always going to stand out. You haven't done that yet, but yet some people think you're going to have the skills to stand in that very ring with me. I don't think so Alisha. You and them should really think things thoroughly.
There's a reason why I walked around the Key Arena and talked down on everybody like I did. It's not an act or a gimmick. It's straight up actuality. Everyone on the roster can take a big fat loss to me, but you're going to have to be the first Alisha. I know you're a young girl whose probably confident in her ability. You feel stout that you're more than just a cute face and that you have what it takes to surpass some of the best. It's good to feel that way, but for a second have you thought about how much of a beast Diamond Legend can be? I can rip you up in pieces and make light work of you. It's really that simple. It's not because I'm a man and you're a female. No, I don't care about stepping into that ring with a girl. We both signed up for the same thing. It's about always being a step ahead of the competition and as it already looks I am miles ahead of you. People already know what Diamond Legend is going to be about in Pure. The question is still up in the air about you, but they won't really get to know the answer until episode three if you catch what I'm saying.
It's moments just like these that get my emotions more into it. I've made myself a leeway. So all that' left to do is broaden it. Do you think I'm going to let you stop me from doing that Alisha? You don't know what it's been like for a guy like me being a hot commodity and not being able to focus on the real task. You probably wouldn't understand. I've placed myself in depths so low that if I freed myself from shackles they would still be there. Lot's of lows, but I've been determined to be what I am, and that's better than the rest and better than the best.
What I've done for myself has only bettered me. I've been more focused and I've been calculating with my decisions. I know what you can bring forth to the table and Alisha it isn't much. You've been thrown to me. Almost as bait like a fish on a line. I'm going to reel you in and make sure that when its all said and done...you are done. Just being quite frank with you.
I know that you're about just winning and claiming belts. You think that's what wrestling is probably all about but it isn't. Wrestling is about being entertaining and standing out from the mass of the same inept wrestlers you see today. Only a few can do that and I'm sure you're going to prove that you can't because you have already failed to see what is at stake here. We're in a brand new company and guys are fighting trying to find their spots. Everyone's looking to find that momentum that can drive them into the Main Events of Pure Wrestling, but me, I already know where I'm going to be and who I'm going to be for this organization and I've known since day one.
People hate me. You, you're probably going to hate me and all that does is just bring in more viewers. The Diamond Legend Hate trains commence and everyone's just waiting for that moment to see me lose. Tickets are sold out weekly. Pure goes International, and the rest is history, but all of that want be because of you Alisha. It'll be because of me. Eyes will gather because of me, and on Monday night when they gather up to despise me, they can also see you lose to me. The cute young untalented girl who they get on their feet for just to inspire you to step up your game because you're getting your ass kicked. It's just music to my ears as it's not inspiration. All they should know is that you're only beneath me like everyone else.
All I'm saying is that I'm the head honcho.
There's not an ounce of anything in me that will let this match slip from my hand. I can't step out there and not continue to make an impact. I can't step out there and not show everyone why I am Pure's imminence and future. People can see me for what I was, but they know I'm a winner and I bring it to anyone who steps inside that ring with me. The three times I've lost in my career I was foolish. Blindsided by the outsiders and not focused. But I can also say that I’ve lost to all champions. Hell, I'm one and one with the future hall of famer Terry Marvin so that should say something right there, but I don't live off of the past because remember I am the imminent and now I'm better and more astute. It's going to be hard for anyone to stop me. I'm guaranteeing you that Alisha. You will notice.
For every last bit of me is ready to rise and keep a spotlight around me. Listen to me when I tell you that I can be the very first face of Pure. That's the goal and everything in me will make sure that I accomplish that. You can try and stop me. Bring your best, but just know that it's not even better than my weakest.
Note, I am The New Pinnacle.
Keep being the cute girl whose not going to turn out to be much of anything. Just keep being adorable and watch how easily you get plowed through.
I've given you a fare warning. This is the only one. Monday night you succumbed to what is Pure Wrestling, and that's as real as it gets."
