~RISE OF THE STALLION~
||The Book Signing||
3:47PM
Third Place Books
6504 20th Ave NE, Seattle
Its the middle of the afternoon on a blustery Seattle day. Nestled away on this quiet corner, is Ravenna; Third Place Books, known for its author signings and its coffee. Today is a special day as the poster stuck to the outside of the window boasts a picture of PURE Wrestling athlete Stallion clutching a book and smiling. It reads that he will be making a special appearance at 4PM today to sign copies of his new book, Rise of the Stallion.
Inside the store, a table has been set up boasting nothing but pictures of Stallion.
“Excuse me sir, but I don't think you seem to be understanding the situation.” says the man who appears to be the store manager.
“There isn’t really anything to be understanding there buddy. I am here to fill your shop and make you some real cash money. This is a win win situation.” says Stallion with a smile on his face.
“But sir…” The manager pauses. “You aren’t even booked to appear here today, and secondly you don't even have a book; just a load of self shot pictures.”
“And your point is?” Stallion looks at the man bemused.
‘My point is that you don't have a book for a book signing, just lots of badly shot photos.” says the manager in a stern voice.
“Again I still don't see your point.” Stallion takes a moment to readjust himself in the window. “I took it upon myself to make a celebrity appearance right here in your store today, maybe even create some sales for you; and in this climate that's a bonus. So what I suggest is that you prepare to open those doors and get trampled in the stampede.” Stallion laughs to himself at the horse joke he has just made.
The manager is left shaking his head and looks over towards the door of the already open store. “Look sir, I wont ask you again, but I need for you to gather your belongings and leave before I am forced to call the police.”
Stallion reaches out and places his hand on the managers shoulder before giving him a shake.
“Look there's no need for that; we are all friends here.” Stallion reaches up and moves his shades onto his forehead. "All I am here to do today is meet some ladies, maybe kiss a baby or two for the press and get some digits; I might even sign a book or two for the adoring fans.” Stallion is abruptly interrupted.
“BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A BOOK…” Screams the manager knocking Stallions arm from his shoulder.
Stallion smirks. “No but you do, this is a bookstore after all…”
“Why would anyone want a random book signed by you?” questions the manager.
“They won't.” responds Stallion. “That's why I have these pictures.” murmurs Stallion lifting a handful of pictures from the table. “Ladies come in, pay the Ten bucks, get a photo a kiss and I get their digits. Wham Bam thank you maam!”
“That isn't how it is working, and I would appreciate it if you kindly left the store now.” The manager motions towards the exit.
“Yeah but, what If I cut you in on some of them digits?” Stallion shouts up as the manager is looking to turn and leave. “Half of them?” The manager has turned his back and is walking away.
“Don't say i didn't warn you…” mumbles the manager.
Stallion smiles and turns to start adjusting the photos on the table when he feels a tap on his back. He turns around and sees nothing.
“Excuse me sir” squeaks a voice. “Aren’t you…”
“Why yes I am!” Stallion perks up at the kids recognition of him.
“That guy who got his ass kicked on TV last week?” The kid laughs as he is left to finish his sentence.
“I think you must have been watching a different show kid; but at least you noticed me and I guess that's why you are here today; for a signed autograph of yours truly!” Stallion reaches down to pick up on of the photos.
“Nah, you're alright. Do you have any of the Emerald Assassin? That dude is cool!” The kid gets all excited and tries to peer past Stallion who does not look amused. He reaches for his pen and signs one of the photos.
“Get out of here kid before I throw you out.” Stallion throws the photo in the direction of the kid who laughs and runs from the shop. As he does, a faint sound of sirens can be heard in the background.
“Oh you have to be kidding me? You really called the cops?” Stallion begins to grab as many of the photos that he can.
“Real mature, we could have made some money today.” With that said,Stallion turns and flees the store leaving a trail of photos in his path.

||POSE ONE, SHAME ON ME||
~POSE TWICE, LUCKY YOU~
If there are people that want to listen, I will show. If people want to see a show, then thats what they will get. I am never one to shy away from the spotlight and this coming monday will be no different. I relish the chance to fight once more, this is just merely the preparation.

~POSE TWICE, LUCKY YOU~
If there are people that want to listen, I will show. If people want to see a show, then thats what they will get. I am never one to shy away from the spotlight and this coming monday will be no different. I relish the chance to fight once more, this is just merely the preparation.
“Its that time of the week again when its time to strap on the old wrestling boots and put a show on for the whole world to see. Now last week may not have gone my way,but people wont remember the winner of the match, they will remember me for taking the beating that I did. All eyes were on me, and although it was for the wrong reasons, I still stole the spotlight. The other three men were merely just bystanders as the world tuned in to see STallion start off the first ever PURE Wrestling show, and I gave them exactly what they wanted”
“I trended so hard on Twitter that the damn thing broke, and I for one will take that. A loss means nothing at this stage of the game and its where we go from here.”
“Booked in a match, and the fine pencil pushers at PURE wrestling are already showing their ambitions by making ‘clerical errors’ at this stage of the game and forgetting about one of their newest signings in Minnie Driver. Now I was all ready to go one on one with the Green Ninja again, but they want to throw me a curve ball, thats fine, I can cope with that, I just hope he can.
“Just be prepared.”
“Be very prepared”
“Because when the music hits and all the fans tune in to see me and only me, you have to keep your heads up, there is no point in letting them drop because that is just life. Sure some fans may clap and cheer for you, but don't let that blindside you into thinking that they care about you; the minute you do so, you may as well just pack your belongings and head for the door.
“Now Emerald, we already have a history in the two short weeks that PURE has been operating, but that is no reason to get nostalgic, we were both losers and thats nothing to be proud. That being the only thing we have in common is about to change, because when Monday night comes to a close that comparison will gone, because in my eyes and everyone elses, you will be the only loser that matters; or doesn’t matter which is probably more appropriate.”
“Now, I don't know how you feel about Double D entering the scene, but to me it is just one more person for people to turn their attention on, and I for one don't like it. Sure I know nothing about this kid, and I know he won't have the looks or even half of the charisma that I do, but he has that new smell feel. You know, the kind you get when you first move into a new apartment; its something new and just like a new family puppy, its cute for a few minutes, but it soon wears off.”
“If truth be told, I am already bored of him and I haven’t even met him yet; I just hope he realises that once the smell goes bad, there is no point lingering around anymore.
“Look, Monday night can be the start of something special, and I don’t want you two to ruin it for me. I want people around the arena to clap their hands and stamp their feet, raise the roof and welcome the Stallion to Seattle.
“A proper welcome, one that you can be proud of.
“And if you do that for me, that is one more reason for your Jaws to drop and be in awe of the Stallion.”
“Just remember that the light that blinds isn’t shining from the roof, it shining from the middle of the ring and his name is STALLION!
