As a fan of the 'Naked Shoot' style myself, I really liked both your and your opponents RPs this week. I though it could go either way, personally. Truth be told, you likely lost a close decision to a guy who (being a one-shot) had nothing to lose.
I like the character. I think you might be helped a little by giving him a more natural cadence... when reading a 'naked shoot' I need to hear the characters voice speaking directly to me. That's the strength of that style. But there were a few moments in your RP where I found myself thinking 'People don't actually talk like that'.
All in all, keep doing what you're doing. Things may not have gone your way this week but I don't think that in your case it's indicative of you doing anything wrong.

I'll be bluntly honest, I literally started the rp last night at 1am and finished around an hour later. So I knew it wasn't going to be all that great. But I am honored to serve on the first show and can't wait till next week.

My thoughts would be just to have a story for your rp's. I noticed you went full on shoot. If that's how you're going to write for Scott then I wouldn't even think about creating a story other than that, bring in some chars and create a story that'll have me waiting to read where it left off.
